Business Agent’s Report:
Sid
Helseth is our new Business Agent to replace Scott Grefe.
Discussed
how political candidates are chosen. A
panel of political analysts determine which candidate will best serve AFSCME and
it's members. Many members are
upset recent endorsements but
members also need to remember that AFSCME will endorse pro-labor and pro-union
candidates over other candidates. 2008
will be a very political year with the Presidential Campaign and other major
political races.
