þ Vice President’s Report:

Several stewards have represented members at several investigatory interviews over the past month.

A Step Three Grievance meeting was held last month for a Written Reprimand.  The Reprimand was reduced to a Supervisory Conference.

Joined President Henderson at the Step Four Arbitration for Shift Exchanges in St. Paul on December 10th, 2007.  Two more days of hearings are scheduled in late January.

Written Reprimands can be removed from your personnel file one year from the date of the reprimand (provided that no further discipline has occurred).  Supervisories are in your Supervisory File for 2 years. Members must make a written request to Human Resources to have the reprimand removed.  Be aware of what is in your file (Personnel and Supervisory) and have outdated material removed in a timely basis.
